Those who have traveled abroad know the headaches that one can get when trying to meet all of your connecting flights, trying to stay awake long enough to find them, and of course going through customs and all of the security it entails. It would be nice if there was a consolation prize that we could get in the end if we passed with flying colors.
One passenger actually got his consolation prize in the form of weed. He landed at Tokyo’s Narita airport over the weekend and was accidentally given a package of cannabis.
The customs official said that he had hid the package in a suitcase – which belonged to a passenger that was coming from Hong Kong. He did this as part of an exercise for the sniffer dogs.
During the exercise they misplaced the drugs and the suitcase. They have asked anyone who received it to return it as soon as possible. We don’t see that happening any time soon!
