PA has always been weird (I know – I’m married 46 years to a guy from there! LOL) Years before ZIP codes, there were actually two Mechanicsburgs in PA! I learned this the hard way when, working out of Detroit, I sent a load of steel to one of them, only to have it returned! Then the trucking company suggested I call the people placing theorder to get the COUNTY name, which was necessary to assure the right Mechanicsburg! Very strange!!
