It looks as if the summer heat might be getting to a few people. Authorities from Jacksonville, Florida said that they received a call through a 911 dispatcher requesting aid because someone forgot to put the sauce on his Subway sandwich.

The 42 year old man (not some child!) called the police twice in one week because the employees had failed to make his sandwich the proper way. Apparently the second call was used to complain that the officers were taking too long to arrive on the scene.

Subway workers told police Peterson became belligerent and yelled when they were fixing his order. They locked him out of the store after he left to call police.

When the officers did get there they tried to explain to him that it was not in their jurisdiction to fix sandwiches and that he was not using 911 properly. When he failed to listen they decided to take a more tactful approach and arrested him for making false calls to 911.

We hope you’ve learned your lesson Mr. Peterson!
