When it comes to politics there are so many tactics (good and bad) that they use to sway people to their cause so that they can win the election. Here in the U.S. they promise things that they usually can’t deliver and shouldn’t even be promising to begin with – like lowering taxes (like that will ever happen).

Politicians in Thailand have chosen a different approach and are risking elimination from their presidential race by breaking the rules. One party has decided to visit all the older men and hand out Viagra as a way to buy their votes.

Now there’s a bribery gift they can’t refuse. He found a way to fulfill every old man’s dreams. Unfortunately if the voter is caught accepting the bribe he could be imprisoned for ten years – while the candidate handing it out will only be disqualified from the race.

So now the old men are wondering which is more important. Viagra (where all their dreams come true) or possible jail time ………I think most of these men are willing to take the risk. Now if our candidates could do something like this and get away with it those lonely independent candidates that never make it might have a chance. Yet, who’s to say they haven’t already tried?
